The Gette Company was initially started after my tenure at the Bay Club Company as the CIO. While successfully stewarding the digital transformation of the Bay Club, I positioned the digital member experience that profoundly changed the business while also surfacing the data that drove revenues leading to the sale to York Capital in 2014 followed by the sale to KKR in 2018. After nearly 6 years as the CIO and having built a culture that changed the dynamic of the business through technology, I realized how the club and fitness industry organizations could benefit from technology beyond traditional means.
